The United States is declining, like the Roman Empire did. You may agree or disagree but give solid reasons why. 
The United States is declining just like the Roman Empire did because of a few reasons like the country is less a melting pot today, but a ethnic, racial, and social divisions. National, state, and local debt loads are unsustainable. Our general setup, roads and bridges, are falling apart from neglect and lack of maintenance. Next, ourhealth care system is the most expensive one in the world, but mediocre by many world standards. Then, political corruption is common, and influence is based by the size of financial donation to the political party and candidate. After that is the growing disparity income inequality creates class tension and social stress. A lot of these reasons were the same reasons why the roman empire fell, like political corruption. We are not exactly doomed like they were, but we are well on our way to that if we continue. So yes the United States is declining, like the Roman Empire
