- What happens in the cave of the Cyclops? They come into the cave of cyclops and they eat their goat cheese, they expect gifts but when the cyclops come back and begins to eat them, Odysseus gets him drunk and blinds him with a flaming spear, and he says “noman did this”, so when the cyclops yells “Noman did this to me” they don’t come down. The escape the cave by pretending to be sheep.
- Is Odysseus a hero? Why or why not? Yes, for Greeks heroism didn’t mean perfection it meant you had an extraordinary attribute or ability, which he had. He had the favor of the god Athena.
